Entry Rules for Ukraine 2025–2026

Current entry requirements for foreign nationals traveling to Ukraine. Requirements may change due to martial law — check with your nearest Ukrainian embassy before departure.

All foreign nationals entering Ukraine must meet the following requirements:

Valid passport with at least 6 months validity beyond your planned stay. Citizens of some countries require a visa — check visa requirements for your nationality before travel.

Travel medical insurance issued by a company registered in Ukraine or a foreign insurer with a representative or partner in Ukraine. The policy must cover emergency medical expenses and be valid for the entire period of stay.

General entry requirements

  • Foreign nationals may enter Ukraine through designated border crossing points. Entry rules are subject to martial law provisions and may be updated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
